![]() ![]() The experience of driving historically accurate vehicles into battle will now be available on all platforms – and without compromising the level of realism. But console players will unlock the full potential of simulation mode in War Thunder for the very first time. Previously PC players at least had the option of manually building a complicated setup of several control devices to fight both on ground and in the skies in one battle. Players will easily hop from one vehicle to another using the War Thunder Controller only. There will be no need to switch between four different control devices right in the middle of a gameplay session, not anymore. One single War Thunder Controller can be used for ground vehicles, ships, jets, helicopters as well as any future types of military hardware. I ran war thunder on a Intel Celeron 2955u CPU with no GPU and 4gb of ram at which it ran at 20 FPS. The best grade aluminium alloys and stainless steel will be used to make the War Thunder Controller very durable. War thunder on nintendo switch I know everyone makes this idea, but i have stuff to back up that it's possible. Warframe has arrived on Nintendo Switch, and boom, my interest is renewed. Outside my own network most hotel/restraunt connections are 999ping or worse also playing on the bed gets tiresome with your hands supporting the weight of the console. Finally console players will get the means to operate all War Thunder vehicles comfortably and precisely even in simulation mode, with no need to remember thousands of button combinations. I played a bit of War Thunder before deciding it wasnt for me and eventually moved onto the next free to play game. And yes, the table below does indeed confirm that developers can choose to hobble Switch performance when plugged in to match the handheld profile should they so choose"Īnd i'm not talking about home Wi-fi i play on mine all the time. That's not a typo: it really is 307.2MHz - meaning that in portable mode, Switch runs at exactly 40 per cent of the clock-speed of the fully docked device. Clock-speeds are locked here at 768MHz, considerably lower than the 1GHz found in Shield Android TV, but the big surprise from our perspective was the extent to which Nintendo has down-clocked the GPU to hit its thermal and battery life targets. Even while docked, Switch doesn't run at Tegra X1's full potential. "As things stand, CPU clocks are halved compared to the standard Tegra X1, but it's the GPU aspect of the equation that will prove more controversial. It automatically downclocks while off the dock- Quoted directly from eurogamer/DF and the gpu doesnt get better docked so why not playing sitting in your bed with your switch? Xbox 360 controllers are better and bigger. So with portability gimmicks out of the way what you have left is docked which if you want to play WT sitting down there are objectively superior and less expensive platforms to go for. This guide will help YOU make PS3 controllers such as the Dual Shock work with War Thunder so you dont have to use Mouse and Keyboard (if you dont want to) Nice guide btw :) yeah xD my bad, Thanks 2. ![]() And quite honestly WT is not something i would play portable both due to the switches GPU downclocking and Wi-fi and ping nightmares. The value proposition applies regardless they don't want to spend time and money developing for a platform that may or may not hold a serious userbase. I dont think wt will come for Switch as the portation would be to costly to be worth the effort as the switch community isnt that much into realism, shooters and mmo games. He has a switch (with the awesome exclusive titels like mario odysee and zelda and now he wants to know if it could become even better with wt. Smart ass I dont think he asked this question because WT is the game he would buy a Switch for. ![]() You would be better off geting a PS4 for ~250 or saving up for a PC. In practice. The switch w/o a bundled game is 300USD you will want to pick up a 128GB SD card at least which is ~100 USD. WT runs on the Tegra K1 which is around ~50% less powerful than the maxwell chip in the switch so in theory it's possible. So the Switch has a Nvidia processer and that would be able to cope with war thunder so why wont Nintendo give any confirmation that this may/may not happen as most of the flight games on switch are not the best and as a trainee pilot who plays war thunder (I am only 18 ) I would love to see a ga. ![]()
